Design sketching

 

I wasn't really in the class, I was an unregistered student because I couldn't join.

Sketching is drawing an object from different perspectives, including the smallest details and, sometimes, adding instructions about materials and textures that will be used in the future in the drawn object.

In the class, we do exercises that will allow us to make strokes more fluently. Some exercises consist of making figures repeatedly, so that later they will serve as a basis for the sketches. We practice mainly strokes and circles. Other techniques that we use a lot is the light and shadow in the sketched objects, this is very important to highlight reliefs and give more solidity to the work.

The reason why I like this subject is that I find it very useful for industrial design. Many times we have an idea that we want to bring to reality and this is a very good way to start, it simplifies the presentation and helps to fix details that will be very important in the future.

And... come on... It is beautiful.
